A comfortable, casual, convenient time and place of compassion and unconditional acceptance is what you or your loved-one will experience when working with me. I strive to provide a safe and nurturing place to heal. My canine co-therapist, Mack, is included with your approval.  I believe that many of us develop limiting and unhealthy beliefs that can negatively influence or become stuck in our bodies and minds. It is my intention to help you re-boot and refresh your mind. Through the use of the most progressive and effective techniques, namely Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT), and other evidence-based therapies such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) and Hypnotherapy,  we can challenge and integrate these beliefs into our story rather than allow them to remain as a barrier to living the happy life we all deserve. My gentle, co-creative style will help to support and nurture your healthy-happy life journey.

Mission:  “To help better the lives of other beings.”

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Certified Professional Coach (CPC), and Certified Human Animal Intervention Specialist (CHAIS).  My formal education includes Master of Social Work from Barry University, Master’s in Psychology from University of Phoenix, Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, and Associate’s in the Arts from Ferris State University.  I have obtained a great deal of additional training in Rapid Resolution Therapy® (RRT), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy, Trauma Resolution, Compassion Fatigue, Animal-Assisted Therapy, Crisis Response, Pet Loss Bereavement Counseling, Developmental Play Therapy, and Level I Storytelling®. I continue to pursue education and training to provide the best service possible for my clients and for my own health and well-being.

I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), International Association of Trauma Professionals (IATP), Institute for Rapid Resolution Therapy (IRRT), EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) and Association of Pet Loss Bereavement (APLB).

I volunteer as an Instructor and handler with my dog, Mack, for National Crisis Response Canines, which allows us to deploy with organizations such as the Red Cross and FEMA after disaster events. I support charitable organizations including Assistance to Victims of Domestic Abuse (AVDA), the American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) and Canine-Assisted Therapy (CAT) CatDogs.org.  Part of the proceeds from my work are donated to these and other “pet” causes.
