When It Rains, Look for the Rainbow!

One of the weird and wonderful things about living in Florida is the sudden rain showers. I’ll never forget driving along I-95 and seeing a dark cloud ahead and a sheet of gray stretching down to the highway in front of me.   I had never experienced rain that could come down in torrent walls of water like blocks or compartments – only to end abruptly as I drove out the other side.

Sitting in one of my favorite coffee shops watching activity through the huge picture window can be fascinating. Watching liquid diamonds rolling off the black awning of the shop across the street; the drops glistening in the westerly sunlight, is a vision that has always stayed with me..

It got me thinking. Personal and Professional changes are a lot like that…When the crazy rains come and the sun struggles to shine through – the rain and sunshine mix to create rainbows. Life is just like that. The challenges we face may rain down at times but there is always sunshine struggling to produce our rainbows. We just have to look for them.

Where do you usually find rainbows? In the darkest part of the sky… Makes you think, doesn’t it?
